  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Former Chelsea captain Terry was spotted running the 2025 London Marathon on Sunday and appeared to be in a spot of bother when he was pictured bleeding from his nipple and struggling with a limp. According to the Daily Mail, the 44-year-old was seen walking with a pained expression around the 21-mile mark as he participated in the event for the charity Rays of Sunshine.

    Terry was seen alongside former teammates Jody Morris and Steve Sidwell on Sunday and Jose Mourinho got in touch with a message poking fun at the former England captain, writing: "Sid, I believe, you, I have doubts you did it." However, official marathon times show Terry did pass the finish line just past the five-hour mark.

    Writing on Instagram, Terry revealed: "Legs are a little stiff and sore this morning, that is by far the TOUGHEST thing I have EVER done and this morning I have so much respect for everyone who run the marathon yesterday.

    "Also a big shout out to the guy dressed as a shoe, who overtook me when I was struggling, yes dressed as a shoe and overtook me, slowed down and gave me some great words of encouragement and gave me some sweets and gels, he then carried on running, about 2 minutes later he come running back towards me with a bottle of coke, Thank you mate 👊🏻💙🏃🏻‍♂️SHHOOEEE…
